Thanks to its innovative formulation, Allrane P28 Long Life, the high performance Polyurethane Primer from Allrim, has found interesting developments that meet OEM requirements in the automotive industry.
Initially developed and patented by Saint-Gobain, Allrane P28 Long Life is now manufactured by Allrim.
“It promotes great adhesion to PVC substrates and RIM encapsulations more than one month after its application. You can process it in virtually all weather conditions, it reduces the time and material costs and above all, it helps achieve stronger, more reliable, longer-lasting bonds” says Dominique Benazet, CEO of Allrim. “Our Lab tests were really exciting: Peeling tests performed on PU Elastomers showed that the adhesive resistance remained unchanged, one month after having applied our P28 under extremely severe aging conditions. The fracture pattern stay cohesive indicating high interfacial tensile strengths through chemical and physical bonds” added Dominique Benazet.
Allrane P28 Long Life is used by PILKINTON and WEBASTO for the manufacturing of Glass Sunroofs systems and achieves full certification to automotive quality standard.
Allrane P28 Long Life is available in 17, 250 and 1000 ml kits, or any other customized volume kits to match your requirements.
